Registering as a stem cell donor in New Zealand

The NZ Bone Marrow Donor Registry registers donors who are of Maori or Pacific Island ancestry OR who have an ancestor from any NZ ethnic minority group.

If you meet one of the above criteria, are aged between 18-40 years, are in good health and meet the eligibility criteria you can register as a potential bone marrow donor.

You need to register to donate blood at an NZ Blood Service Donor Centre or Mobile. The simply ask about joining the NZ Bone Marrow Donor Registry when you register for your blood donation.
