registering as a stem cell (bone marrow) donor in the uk
You can register as a potential bone marrow donor if you are between 16-55 years, in good health and meet the eligibility criteria.
If you are already registered as a blood donor and are aged 18-49, simply inform the staff that you would like to join the British Bone Marrow Registry or the Welsh Bone Marrow Registry when you go to donate blood
If you are aged 16-30, click here to join the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Registry (you do not need to be a registered blood donor)
If you are aged 17-55, click here to join the Delete Blood Cancer UK Registry (you do not need to be a registered blood donor)
All the registries share their records so if you are on one database, you do not need to join another.
